I’ve been doing CF for about ten years. When I moved to London, I found it quite difficult to find a box where you could find genuinely nice people AND great programming/coaches. It took a while, but Gym 1971 IS THE ONE. All of the coaches are absolutely fantastic – they take the time to make sure you’re doing the movements properly, and they call me out whenever they know I can do better, which is so motivating. The coaches, and the members, are also such genuinely nice people, and it took no time at all for me to feel at home and fit in, with no cliques. On the training side, I don’t think I’ve ever, in all of my years of training, seen this much of an improvement in myself. After a few months, I could see a significant difference that stretched to other areas of my training – such as cycling, running. I have more energy, I’m motivated, and I genuinely look forward to every session at CF1971.

CrossFit

CrossFit is a dynamic and high-intensity fitness programme that combines elements from various disciplines like weightlifting, gymnastics, and aerobic exercises to enhance overall physical strength, endurance, and flexibility. Each session, known as a WOD (Workout of the Day), is designed to push participants to their limits in a supportive and group-based environment. Olympic Weightlifting

Olympic Weightlifting focuses on mastering two core lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk, which are both complex movements that require a blend of strength, speed, and technique.
